Netiquette

Hey Girls! 
The Netiquette On-line E-mail Program is a new and fun way to give friends and family the opportunity to support Girl Scouts, to learn a little about internet etiquette, and to earn a special Netiquette patch. With the help of your parents, you will register and complete a fun interactive game.  After completing the game, you will be able to enter names and e-mail addresses of friends and family. A certificate of completion can be printed out and given to your troop leader. If you complete this step, you will receive a Netiquette patch and your troop will earn $2.

   Here’s how it works:

• Once you arrive at the site, simply complete the information to register.
• Next, complete the learning activity “Stretching Your Mind, Slapping the Water” about email “netiquette”.
• Once the learning activity is complete, follow the prompts to enter 12 emails of family and friends who might like to purchase a magazine to help Girl Scouts.  You will have the opportunity to view the email that will be sent to the people you listed.
• That’s it!  QSP will send the emails on your behalf.  Later, if you would like to see who ordered, you can go back to the site at anytime, by-pass the learning activity, and view the people who purchased.
• If you participate by entering 12 emails, you will earn the Netiquette patch and your troop will earn $2!
