Here is a special opportunity for all Girl Scouts of Central Indiana and their families!
You are invited to get away from the crowds and busy highways to explore the lovely hills and valleys of Camp Gallahue. This beautiful resident/troop camp is located
in Brown County. You’ll share a wonderful family experience, meet other Girl Scout families, and make new friends!

These two holiday weekends are wonderful occasions to use the facilities of Camp Gallahue. We have planned some activities to complement your weekend of leisure.
Lifeguards will be on duty at the waterfront for swimming, canoeing, sailing, open kayaking, and fishing!

May 23-26, 2008
Labor Day Family Weekend
August 29 - September 1, 2008

(Someone in family must be a registered Girl Scout member. A family consists of individuals living in the same household).

Facilities Available for Your Family Consist of:

(All fees are per weekend)
HILLCREST - has 3 wings; each wing has either 12 or 14 beds, private restroom & showers, modern kitchen. Fee per wing: $100.00
FOUR TENT UNITS – each unit consists of a large activity cabin with ten nearby platform tents for sleeping, pit latrines. Cabins have modern kitchens and substantial activity space, to be shared by families staying in the unit, for get-together, cooking, etc.
Fee per family: $40.00
ADIRONDACK UNIT (Harley’s Hill) – Three sided shelter for sleeping, picnic style shelter with tables, a pit latrine, firebowl. NO ELECTRICITY OR WATER.
Fee per family: $25.00
PRIMITIVE CAMPING SITES – unlimited site capacity. Sites include firebowls, fire grates and picnic tables. Water available from a pump located in the center of the valley.
Fee per family: $25.00
PICNIC AREA – available for day use.
HILLS OF GALLAHUE TRAIL – provides a rugged seven and a half-mile trail through the hills of Brown County. (After hiking the trail, The Hills of Gallahue patch is available
for purchase from Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Showcase).

Here’s your part of the bargain

…each family must bring their own equipment and food. No campers, trailers, or
motor homes; no hookups. NO PETS!

Refunds not available for family camp weekends.

*You may also pay by Visa or Master Card by completing the information on the registration. When paying by charge, you may fax your form to the Girl Scout Service Center at Indianapolis at (317) 931-3346.
